The Space Centre opened in 1962 and was named in honour of
President Kennedy after his assassination in 1963. Ever since,
it has been a world of fun and excitement for all! The
Visitors Complex has everything from real life artefacts to
fascinating exhibits to attractions on the history and future
of human and robotic spaceflight.
This is so much more than a Museum! More interactive than a
museum, more inspirational than a science centre, more
educational and authentic than a theme park – there is nothing
in (or out) of this world quite like it! Kennedy Space Centre
Complex offers a mix of thrilling simulators, breath-taking
attractions, behind the-scenes tours, interactive exhibits,
larger-than-life 3D films, rocket launch viewing opportunities
and so much more. Space Pass Plus includes The Space Shuttle
Atlantis attraction and experience, the Kennedy Space Centre
bus tour featuring Apollo/Saturn V Centre, two 3D Space Films,
live presentations and the Rocket Garden, Astronaut Memorial,
and Children's Play Dome, Lunch with an Astronaut, choice
between KSC Up-Close Tours (KSC Up-Close Explore or KSC
